From Genesis on, the coming of the Son of God is the central theme of the Old Testament. There are hundreds of prophecies that reveal facts about the coming of Jesus, the life of Jesus, and the death of Jesus. The coming of this man, who left the throne in Heaven to come to earth with the specific purpose of being tortured and crucified for our sins, to die for our crimes; to pay off a debt that we owed, was the most anticipated event in human history!
Jesus Christ is the soap that removes the stain of our sins, the perfume that covers the stench of our transgressions. For He is, was, and eternally shall be the beautiful fountain that cleanses us from all our sins, washing away our defilement; reconciling us to the Father. Have you washed in the fountain of Life? Come to the fountain of God's grace and mercy, and your sins, though they are like scarlet, will be made white as snow with the blood of the Lamb.
