Moses has died and been buried by God himself. For forty years, Moses led as many as six million Jews through the harsh Desert. He moved the equivalent Population of the Cities of Philadelphia, Houston, and Chicago put together. He had kept them safe and, a few times, saved the entire nation from Total Annihilation. Moses and God climb to the top of a high mountain. From there, Moses sees the Beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and the Lushness of the Jordan Valley. But look is all Moses can do, for his lack of faith, when smiting a rock for water, angered the Father.
Joshua is getting his “briefing” from God. God promises his continuing support and protection, just like he Gave to Moses.
If he will walk in the footsteps of God and make his people obey the Commandments given by the Lord to Moses, -they will prosper in the land of milk and Honey. Don’t worry about the Battles, for God himself will go Ahead of the soldiers. Clearing the way and lighting a path, for them to follow.
The same power that led the Children of God through the desert and went ahead of them to clear the way is still available for us. For we are told “the steps of a good man
Are ordered by the Lord”. Are you walking your on own, without God? Why? Pray to Our Father, who will never leave us or reject us. Then, our steps will be ordered by God and we will know we are right with him.
