“I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8 (NIV)
Jesus has just told his Apostles about a wicked judge and an old widow woman. Through sheer determination, she has gotten the crooked judge to give her justice. If even a crooked judge will see that justice is done, how much more will our loving God answer the petitions we send him, if we don’t give up? We have to pray through until we get an answer.
Then Jesus asks how many faithful will he find? How many will still be praying and believing in the power of their prayers? Who will be “playing church” and who will be the prayer warriors when Christ comes back for his lambs? What about you? Which group will you belong to?
