On July 4, 1776, the United States of America declared it owed no further allegiance to England or King George. We declared we had no further duty to pay the unfair taxes. We declared that we would no longer accept their religious persecution. Many battles lay ahead, but the Dream of the United States became reality. Our country ended old allegiances and started moving in a new direction. Our country was re-birthed, or born again.
On our Spiritual Independence Day, We kicked Satan out so Jesus could move in. We evicted Lust, Greed, Hatred, Violence, and Arrogance, and they never need to return. Jesus cleaned out our hearts, getting rid of the stink of sin. He came in and scrubbed our hearts, minds, and souls with the blood of the lamb. He opened the windows and curtains of our soul. We were born again.
