The priests in Malachi's day were showing their contempt for Jehovah by accepting lame, sick, and blind animals as offerings to the Most High. God gave us his best by making the last sacrifice that would ever be needed. He let His Only Begotten Son, the Messiah, take the stripes, the thorns, the torture, the nails, and the spear for US.
Our Heavenly Father loved us so much that he held back not even His very own son, Jesus the Christ!
Are you polluting the altar with your gifts to the Master? Does he get whatever time is left over, after everything else has been done first? Does he get whatever money is left over at the end of the month? Are you insulting the Heavenly Father with your sick, lame, and blind offerings? Are you polluting the Lord's table? Offer the best you have to God, for he gave his best to you.
